Throughout the years of work, the specialists of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine achieved perfect results in scientific work. They devote much time to lecturing in foreign universities and medical centers, conduct training and retraining of teachers and professors, and publish their research papers in international journals. The list of our specialists’ most valuable works includes the following:

  • Wu Shentao, Member of the Academy of Sciences, Professor of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vice President of the Diabetic Committee of Integrated Chinese Medicine in the International Federation of Endocrinologists has published over 80 research papers and several scientific books. His thesis work written under the guidance of Professor Chzhan Ci was called «Traditional Chinese Medicine in Treatment of Diabetes Chronic Complications».
  • Wang Jingui, Academician of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vice President of the International Federation of Chinese Medicine, Vice Chairman of the National Institute of Chinese Medicine, Chairman of the Professional Society of Acupuncture, Stylostixis, and Massage.

    His major works: Published 8 books, 14 teaching and learning aids. Was awarded with several honorary distinctions in recognition of his clinical work.

  • Liu Aifeng, PhD in Medicine, Deputy Chief Doctor of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee of Orthopedics and the Association of Integrative Medicine, Chairman of the Professional Committee of Biomechanics, Head of the Professional Society of Primary Orthopedists, sponsor of the project of the National Science Foundation «Natural 1».

    Major areas of his research papers:

    1. Research of Orthopedic Biomechanics;
    2. Application of Methods of Integrative Medicine and Minimally Invasive Techniques of Treatment in Spine and Joint Disorders;
    3. Study of Influence of Physical Exercise on Bone-on-Bone Friction.

    Published 3 books and over 20 articles.

  • Yu Tao, PhD in Medicine, Head of Rehabilitation Department, lecturer of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, member of the Chinese Association of Neurology in the Professional Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee of Neurology, member of Tianjinshi Professional Committee of Rehabilitation Medicine.

    His major works:

  • Liang Jiali, Head of Endocrinology Department, specialist in treatment of acute conditions associated with diabetes.
